Frequently asked questions

What backup software do you recommend?

For most small business clients we recommend Datto, Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365, or Acronis depending on whether the priority is workstations, M365 data, or servers. We are vendor-neutral and recommend based on your data, not on which vendor pays us most.

Will this protect against ransomware?

Backups protect against ransomware impact — if your data gets encrypted, you restore. Backups do not protect against ransomware infection. For prevention you need EDR (SentinelOne) and managed monitoring (Silver+ tier).

What about my server?

This SKU covers workstation RMM and one backup target verification. Server backup setup is a separate, larger SKU because the cutover requires off-hours work and tested rollback. Ask us for a server-specific quote.

How long does setup take?
